Our approach
TrustCheck AI is built privacy-by-design. We collect as little personal information as possible, and we explain plainly what is processed, what is not, and why.
TrustCheck AI & AI Governance Check
- No account or sign-up is required.
- Your assessment answers are processed and scored entirely in your web browser (client-side JavaScript). They are not transmitted to or stored on any CyberAbeer server as part of normal use.
- If you print or save your results as a PDF, that file is created and saved by your own browser/device — CyberAbeer does not receive a copy.
- We do not ask for passwords, API keys, Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, bank information, medical records, or other highly sensitive identifiers, and you should never enter them into this tool.
Scam & Impersonation Analyzer
- Message text you paste is analyzed entirely in your browser using a fixed set of pattern-matching rules.
- We do not transmit, upload, or store the text you paste into this tool.
- We do not send your pasted text to any third-party AI service.
Research Observatory (optional, opt-in only)
- Research participation is entirely voluntary and requires a separate, explicit opt-in.
- If and when a research opt-in is implemented, it would collect only minimal, non-identifying information: organization size category, industry category, broad geographic region, domain-level assessment scores, and AI-adoption category.
- We do not describe any data as "anonymous" unless our technical implementation genuinely prevents re-identification, and we do not claim IRB approval unless it has actually been obtained.

Analytics
Where analytics are used on TrustCheck AI, we aim to use privacy-conscious methods and collect only aggregate usage signals (such as page views, assessment starts/completions, and resource clicks) — not content you typed into the tools. We do not sell personal data.
Third-party AI services
The core scoring of TrustCheck AI and the Scam Analyzer does not call any third-party AI API and does not transmit your input anywhere. If a future feature uses a third-party generative AI service to explain results, that will be clearly disclosed on this page before it is enabled, including what is sent, to whom, and how long it is retained.
Data retention
Because assessment and scam-check inputs are not transmitted or stored by CyberAbeer in normal use, there is nothing on our servers to retain from those interactions. Any future data collection (such as voluntary research opt-in) will state its specific retention period at the point of collection.
Your choices
- You can use TrustCheck AI and the Scam Analyzer without ever opting into research.
- You can clear your browser's local storage/cache at any time to remove any locally stored preferences.
